Hey guys! I'm super excited to let you all know that I'm going to be starting as a concept artist at Warner Brothers. As a big DC and Warner fan, I'm really looking forward to working alongside the amazingly talented people there.
Also, Its been a while since I've posted, so as a BIG thank you to my friends, followers and to celebrate the news, here is the first piece from a big body of work.

The goal was to aim for that good chunky chicken paint application : P
The painting was done with a very interesting program called Verve. Although I have a lot to learn, I have tinkered with the program a bit and I can say that its fantastic. It does a really good job of simulating oils by adding some of the basic hurdles associated with traditional painting into your workflow. For example, in Verve you cannot erase paint but rather wipe away at the paint you've put down. This eventually removes paint but it makes you think twice before you commit to a stroke.
Thank you Daniel for the recommendation!
