Here is a
digital sketch (40 min about) I remember sleeping half way when drawing this, looking at it now, it looks meh. Finally finished organizing my stuff for the trip, and I figure I am ready as I will ever be so why not just post a couple images :). enjoy ( trips on the 13th)
Woah. this is awesome.
ReplyDelete& also where you going?
WHOA!!! Really GREAT WORK HERE! MAN!
ReplyDeleteI have to ask this question... In your program, do they offer some sort of Painting class? the reason I ask this is because almost every Sheridan student, or graduate, has unbelievable skill in Digital painting!
Also, what program do you mostly use?
I really can't wait to see more.
Thanks for the comments guys. I really appreciate your support.
ReplyDeleteShane Plante: Within the animation program at Sheridan College there is a 3 year traditional painting class (you work with gauche and acrylic mostly) I am continuing to my 2nd year there, and so far we have not stepped into a real digital painting class. There is also a class titled Digital Tools in which you are taught different aspects of programs like Photoshop, After Effects and Toon Boom(just to name a few) Late in year 2 I it is more based on 3d rigging. (Digital painting at Sheridan is a useful skill however it isn't something that is taught, you just pick it up)
The most important thing is that if you understand traditional painting, you will totally be apt at digital ( I use Photoshop mostly, at times Corel Painter)
